What a crazy week. We had the Costume Concert last week on the 28th and everyone showed up for a great night. Monday we had our dress rehearsal for the Veteran's Concert. The students had no school Tuesday. Then Wednesday, the night of our concert, 21 students didn't show up to the concert! I was devastated. The concert went well with the wonderful students that did come and they played their hearts out. I am getting valid excuses from some, thank you! We will be having our Bagel Party Monday Nov. 9th. Then Thursday the 12th we have our first look at our Winter Concert Music. Not much time to practice.

Tuesday Thursday this week! Open House went well. It was great meeting all the parents! The Moose played their music from the back of their book towards the front. Mr. Kishman played Bass for us (he told me that he practiced after school and worked on the front of the book..and we played from the back!- sorry Mr. Kishman) Thursday's rehearsal was great! Please give me some suggestions on how to end our "Scary Story about Willoby Wallace.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week. Monday's rehearsal was definitely a Monday's rehearsal. Try to wake up on Mondays a little quicker Orchestra. Wednesday we found out that Beethoven was de-composing while we practiced "Fantasia". We need some ideas for our "Scary Story". Moose Ensemble plays for "The Underground Cafe" on Thursday from 4-5 at the Westminister Presbyterian Church (directions are on the Calendar). Bela Fleck, Sadar Hussain, and Edgar Meyer were awesome at the Stanley Wed. night. Sept. 21-25 Tuesday and Thursday this week. What a great job Mrs. Scaramella did for us to conduct Thursday's Music. The Moose Ensemble on their own organized a concert for "The Sons of Italy" Thursday night (24th) and they enjoyed the free food. Seating Challenges information was announced. Be sure to sign up on the board if you want to challenge someone in you section. The Moose Ensemble plays at Danielle's Banquet hall on Sat (26th) from 6 to 7:30! Hope there's free food there for us! Shrimp would be great. Lesson are in FULL Swing. Make sure you show your teachers your lesson Schedule. It acts as a pass!

Mr. Kishman took the baton on Monday. Wed we played through alot of music. You students were awesome and well prepared. Thanks for being so understanding with inventory process. If you haven't already, get those Rental Contracts in quickly! I hate paper work! Moose Ensemble will start on Monday Sept.21 from 2:30 to 3:00. Anyone interested in playing this year let me know and show up to the rehearsal!
